The Benedictine High School of Pannonhalma is an independent Roman Catholic boarding school for boys and one of the most distinguished secondary schools in Hungary. The project is conducted by and meant for Class 10A (36 boys).
The class is very diverse, consisting of some students from abroad (one from the Netherlands) and a majority with a background of social and economic deprivation whom have never been in Western Europe. The aim of the project is to prepare these pupils for a future life and career as conscious and well-informed citizens with a broad view on politics, society and culture. Going on a study trip to the Netherlands will help to attain this aim.
